"We made the decision that, 'Okay, we'll do it, we'll give it a shot, and if it ever becomes something that's hard on our family, that's hard on our kids, then we'll stop,'" Courtney explained. They initially agreed — although they admitted that filming was a "full-time job" and it would be a challenge to balance it with the demands of parenting nine children. “There are only so many hours in a day, and it was honestly just too difficult,” Eric explained. However, one thing that she was concerned about was what the older boys — Saylor, Wales and Bridge — would think of this plan. Last year, the boys had to celebrate their birthdays with the sextuplets and she was not sure if they would be ready to do that again.

Blu is like having six kids all by himself and he used his bath time to drench his mother’s makeup bag. Courtney also had to take her oldest son Saylor to the dentist. He was getting braces and she had a hard time believing he was old enough to have all his adult teeth. She was told by the dentist that she needed them and she’s been pushing it off because she’s had so much else on her plate. ‘Sweet Home Sextuplets’ chronicles the unique and challenging journey of this family as the six babies are born, admitted to NICU and are reunited with a family of eleven.
As far as next season goes, we are sure that TLC must have been encouraged by the response that the last two seasons have received. So, it is quite likely that the network will renew the show for a third season. If everything goes as expected, our best guess is that ‘Sweet Home Sextuplets’ Season 3 can release sometime in May, 2020. The odds of conceiving sextuplets are extremely low, even with fertility treatments, as experts testify. This is why it was a very special occasion when Eric and Courtney Waldrop, who both live on a sheep farm in small-town Alabama, discovered that Courtney was expecting six babies all at once.

The boys did not seem happy and Saylor seemed disappointed with the idea of celebrating all birthdays together. He did not like the idea of having the sextuplets while celebrating his birthday with his friends. Courtney tried to assure him and the boys that they would be spending their birthday at a place where the boys will have a chance to enjoy the trampoline while the sextuplets would have a bouncing house. Sandy said all six children won’t be on the same level. She found some to be 21 to 24 months and others to be 18 months. Hopefully, Sandy can come up with a program for them to help them because four of the sextuplets did need additional help. They weren’t where they needed to be for their age groups. Maybe after they see Sandy for a while they’ll get to know where they need to be. They spotted some mugs at a shop and the mugs detailed what they were for on them.
At the same time, moving into a mobile home has not been easy for them and she thought it might be a good solution to have all the celebrations together by inviting everyone at once. Because the pregnancy was so risky for both mother and babies, Courtney's doctors brought up the option of reducing the number of fetuses to increase the odds of a healthy birth. The Waldrops rejected that suggestion, trusting that they could handle whatever God had in store for them. Their faith was rewarded in December 2017 when Courtney safely delivered her six babies via caesarean section. Their names are as unique as the family itself, according to the Daily Mail. The three boys are Layke Bryars, Blu Wellington, and Tag Bricker, and their sisters are Rawlings McClaine, Rivers McCall, and Rayne McCoy.
Courtney tried to school her children during the break. It was hard with six two-year-olds and she knew she did slack when it came to certain areas. Courtney and her family later said goodbye to the mobile home. The mobile home was their home for seven months and so it was so bittersweet for the kids. Courtney had to tell them it was going to be a new family’s home.
"Life is going to always throw you curveballs, you know, and with the coronavirus, who knows when it's ever going to end," she wonders. "So you just got to lean on the Lord and know that he's going to get us through each and every day." Courtney and Eric Waldrop are ending the summer with a special surprise for their nine kids!
It went on a break after airing its mid-season finale on July 14, 2020. However, TLC has already given us a confirmation on when the new episodes will land on tv screens. ‘Sweet Home Sextuplets’ season 3 episode 6 will release in Fall 2020. It should return to its regular Tuesday slot of 10 pm ET/ 9 pm CT. We will update this section with the exact release date + time as and when we learn more.
